Why we founded UKES?

Our main aim is to try and help steer the development of the Eurasier breed in the UK according to the vision of its founders in Germany, by encouraging people to learn about and understand the importance of ‘the Eurasier Way’.

Education and health are therefore central to our Society’s activities. We want to focus on informing existing and potential owners, and the general public about the unique characteristics of Eurasiers; their origins and carefully planned development as companion dogs, their hereditary health problems and the steps which need to be taken to further ameliorate them.

We also believe in UKES as a platform for social activities - all the family having fun! Moreover, we are there to help and support our members, or indeed anybody interested in the breed, in all canine matters .
